@justanotherfan Lee was a pretty nice snag for the staff. Most people thought he was going to Iowa. I believe he was a top 40ish JC player.

Came across this article today and I found it very interesting. Texas is getting a new 300M dollar basketball arena and it is not going to cost the taxpayers or boosters a dollar. Very cool idea and deal struck by the Texas AD.
Got me thinking as to if other schools would try to do this given the arms race in big time college athletics.

@JayHawkFanToo With already having the JUCO kid committed and limited number of scholarships to hand out this class I highly doubt they take another QB unless its a high level High School kid.
Sounds like Quade Green might be transferring out of Kentucky as well.
@dylans In every mock draft that I looked at to begin the year Grimes was listed as a top 10 pick.
Since there has already been some talk about players who might leave early I thought I would post this here. Givony is IMO the best in the business by far at watching film and evaluating talent when it comes to the draft. He updates this list periodically throughout the year.

@Kcmatt7 I actually think it is a great hire for KSU. He fits what they need very well. I also don't think he will jump ship if he is successful for a few years like Littrell, Brown, Norvelle, etc.. would have. He knows how to develop talent and find under the radar guys.
I also saw a quote from the Miege coach saying he is very impressed with him and has a relationship with him from NDSU recruiting some Miege players.

Keith Langford might be the best example of this over the last 20 years or so. He just accepted his role in Europe, cashed checks, and traveled the world. Pretty decent work if you can find it.
@justanotherfan It's not just about the NBA when players decide to leave early. I don't think Dedric is going to be a NBA player, but what does he accomplish by coming back next year? He is just wasting another year. He can go to Europe and make a very nice living.

In no way does KU deserve to be #1. Arguably not even top 5 really. If we want to be honest Duke should be #1.

I know some people thought this team would be better without Doke. That’s not true. Can’t defend the paint without him and they miss him on offense when things break down.
