Out of curiosity, any word on coaches next year? Will Jeremy Case stay? Will either Roberts or Townsend move on or retire? Is Self happy with his support staff?

Looks like Houston is physically hammering KU players and getting away with it. That’s part of their defense it appears.

LJ Cryer was a great pickup for Houston. Big time scoring guard. Only 3 assists for Houston with 1:42 left. KU needs such a guy at point?
In a 247 article, HD indicated his speech didn’t preclude him from returning next year. The speech was “just something I wanted to do”. Apparently he hasn't decided yet?

I don’t understand how Houston is kicking tail every game. Is Sampson a great recruiter, finding those gems Self and teams miss? Is he a great motivator, every game? Does he have a better all around staff for recruiting and teaching?
-Their defense is physical and fouls aren’t called. They generally hit shots when it counts, either through talent or coaching.
- I was certain they would be an average team in the Big 12, but it turns out KU is the average team. 😫

The Furph is, what, 17? His maturity level would be a problem hanging around older players with different, shall we say, perspectives on life. I’m sure his parents will have valuable input. I agree, the money is bigger every year he stays.

It seems the opponent gains ground when somebody tries to play hero ball in search of points. McCullar comes to mind mostly. He’s certainly a great player but sometimes not within the system. Or am I looking at it wrong?
