Yeah Silvio is a heck of a rebounder. Would be great to have him next year. I'm curious to see if Silvio improves his shot as well. He had a great free throw stroke, seems like he has something to work with, unlike Dok. Dok better damn well learn to rebound.

I don't know. I think a lot of it is him just doing what he has to - similar to Sean Miller and anyone else west of the Mississippi - to get recruits to come west. They all wanna go east.
So not specifically saying he's cheating more than anyone else, but he has to take more chances on the riskier players than what all of us would consider his real competition.

Doesn't Adidas have interest in Jackson going to KU just as much (if not more) than KU does? I could obviously see how KU would be interested in bending the rules a little to get a talent like that, but I'd bet there's some guys within the Adidas camp that are a lot more desperate than Self and Co. I just hope KU doesn't have to vacate any wins due to Jackson being technically ineligible.

Self at 6 seems a little low, and Wright at 1 seems high, but Izzo at 2 is ridiculous. I'd put Self a notch above Izzo and Cal, especially after this last Final Four appearance.
With emphasis on recent results mentioned in the beginning of the article, not sure at all why Izzo is that high. (I think the author is high...)

Imagine, in theory: If you have 5 guys that can shoot or drive, the other team is screwed. Just hang all your guys out beyond 3 point range and set screens, dribble-weave, whatever. If the defense sags, drain a 3 on them. If they guard the 3, drive past them. It's beautiful. Chicks dig the long ball, and chicks dig the layups/dunks.
Dok-ball is more of a necessary evil than it is a beauty to watch. You watch it and like it because it works (except against 'Nova). But it ain't pretty. No one likes to see a guy back his man down (still don't know why that's legal) and throw up some ugly hook. Olajuwon is about the only guy I can think of in recent history who has made the inside game beautiful, mostly due to his footwork and fakes.
Otherwise, it's ugly. It just is.

Yeah Dok needs to work on his free throws. It's nice that he starts with his elbow in but he needs to keep his elbow in when he starts the shooting motion too. And not shoot from the left side of his face.
Then boxing out. He should be able to box out ANYONE. With his big body and soft hands, he should be excellent at rebounding.
Silvio so far is a Dennis Rodman with worse defense and better shooting touch. Can't wait to see him play next year.
Let's just hope they play some defense!
Yeah I think that's the big story as far as we're concerned. If you're a recruit (shoe deals aside), do you go to KU or Villanova?
Also, one more year a team west of the Mississippi does NOT win the national title.
Shouldn't be that hard to make them shoot 2s instead of 3s.

KU always steps up against big name schools. Length is usually our kryptonite, but I don't think Duke is too long for us. I think we got this by double digits.
