it's official! we have the talent, just need to keep our focus and win out the regular season and get ready for the NCAA tournament.

1 , 3 or 25 they are going to be gunning for us and Coach. I say we go in #1 with them knowing who and what we are and finish the regular season like we are capable of! Coming in the back door with our jerseys covered and being #3 doesn't do anything for me, we are KU and we just need to go in andkick some stoolwater behinds!

Nova and the Zags both went down at home,we are moving on up! This sets things up for Coach next Saturday to end his losing streak down in Stoolwater. Rock Chalk.

did anyone else catch our buddy Fran's remarks about LL last night during the WV/Oklahoma game? I replayed it and at the 5:54 mark an Okie gets fouled and he said that it reminded him of LL by the way he fell. he said that ll looks like a 12 year NBA player who has all the tricks. would someone explain to me that it was meant to be positive, cause I certainly didn't see it that way. @HawkChamp come on Hawkchamp, do you really expect a top 3 team to be able to play smart and aggressive for a whole 40 minutes? then i suppose you think the coaching staff should make changes or adapt to anything that the other team is doing. then you expect us to win at HOME against a sub-par team. you really think we can play like this and not go far in march.

everyone is such an expert. i need some help. i will be traveling west from wichita to colorado on the 25th of this month and be gone for a week, would someone PLEASE tell me what the weather will be like. would hate to rely on just merrill teller(kwch 12) for the weather. if i receive different (opinions), i promise not to hold any of you responsible. i will just feel better knowing that each of you cared about my safe-fun travels and you want me to make it to my ultimate destination!

@kjayhawks yes, we all want to win every game. but we need to do our part to accomplish that. just for what ifs, if we were playing wvu last night, it would have been ugly. i don't see anything wrong with us expecting the best from our guys. they will have bad plays and bad days, but that's why its a team sport to help compensate with that.

@BShark at the risk of being called an "anti", i agree. we saw nothing last night to compare what they will do. yes it was a great win!!! but we have to set our goals high and don't stop till we get there. and that means we do our job-passing-defense-ft's-decision making-shot selections. we can celebrate today, but tomorrow still comes and we need to be prepared. @approxinfinity great argument for how well we're doing versus last year on the ft's. however, if we made the extra 1.5 points per game, we would be undefeated today.

@approxinfinity once they have the form mastered, should not make a difference. nothing should vary between every free throw shot.

@approxinfinity no excuse for the ft average. practice/mental-my son had better average than this when he would practice shooting blindfolded, just repetition and form- he would shoot 65% to 70%

@DoubleDD going to be even longer if we keep playing like this and get beat by the teams we should beat

Has anyone else noticed that coach Self has been sitting for longer periods at a time during games? Since I recently endured similar problems, I wonder if he has a corn on his foot. Makes you wonder.
