Last night Espn had us at 1.5 point favorite and now it’s WVU by 2.
I heard that they got confused on how the broom challenge works. They decided to sit on them and will not attend the game tonight due to a middle body injury.
Even Jay Bilas said it was a horrible call. That says a lot.

FWIW KU stayed with Baylor the second half. Came within 4 (I believe) without Dotson. As soon as he came in that’s when we lost momentum. If I remember correctly
To be fair we play in Omaha a lot.

@jayballer73 our tempo is down due to our offense not being elite as other years. We lower possessions creating a lower tempo. We don’t have Frank Mason Devonte Graham, Svi, or cough Vick type of shooting but we have one heck of a defense.
I think we are flying under the radar as far as a wow factor or high light reel team. Look at Doke. He’s , knock on wood, going to break the NCAA record for fg %. To me that’s more of a wow than making ESPNs top 10 plays of the week.

What's wrong with never being satisfied? In the sports world that is. If we win the NC, what should Bill and company do? Celebrate for a little bit then get back to work for another. Striving for excellence is what you're supposed to do, especially in a program such as KU.

Please forgive the ignorance. With everyone debating whether Wilson should take a medical redshirt or not made me wonder if Doke can take a medical redshirt for last year. He only played 9 games, and I was wondering what the cut off was for being eligible. Also, there's been discussions on whether he's even a fit in the NBA. Now if he technically can take a RS I don't at all see him doing it, I was just wondering if he's at least eligible.
Please keep rude comments to yourself if I'm just completely wrong on this. I believe that even when I disagree with people on here I do it with respect. We're all Jayhawks here.

I’m watching the game in Nashville right now and I have to say that these particular fans are very nice. And they agree that KSU started the whole thing. So that’s cool I guess.

@kjayhawks that’s so sad. I was jumped also in Manhattan. I lived there from 2008-2011. I was 21 leaving aggieville and walking home. A brand new black Escalade pulled up and out came 5 huge ass men. They messed my friend up pretty bad and broke open my head. Luckily a cop pulled up and separated it. I was drunk so I didn’t know the correct protocol on how to handle it. Once we got home, a quick 10 minutes later, we called the cops. The cops came over and said that WE are the lucky ones for not being charged and there’s nothing that they can do.
The next day when I had my head on straight I knew something was messed up. So I looked up pictures of the KSU basketball team and guess what. It was them!!! God damn I hate them. They are trash at the highest purity.

I hate the stupid thing they do at games where it looks like everyone is practicing giving a BJ.
Frankly, I hate everything about KSU. And I hope that during the next conference realignment they get relegated to the Mountain West where they belong.

Edit: the punishments will be decided quick so in a few days we’ll know whether it’s worth it or not to red shirt Wilson. I still say that prison Mitch should keep it even if David is donzo for the year.

I’ve been on the fence about red shirting Wilson, but after this loss I’m in favor of burning it. We need shooters.
I was just about to post some of the same stuff. Losing to 2 games by a total of 3 points against great teams with top 5 coaches. Not bad.
What sucks though is Gonzaga will most likely remain #1 for a while. I looked at their schedule and they don’t play anyone good besides BYU.

Guys, we’ll be fine! We want them to be amped up. If they didn’t respect KU as a power house then they wouldn’t have made it an alumni day, or post a hype video.
If the crowd isn’t amped or the student section isn’t full, then we didn’t go in that place facing their best. I want to play everyone at their best.
My prediction is 65-60 KU.
