So AZ State lost at home to Princeton last night. CBS dropped them out of the Top 25 & 1. KU rolls with Dok. Sigh...
Svi Mykhailiuk scored 47 points in a G-League game last night. Jayhawks tearing up the G-League....
Uber or Lyft. Dropped me off and picked me up at NE corner of AFH. Convenient and cheaper than many parking areas.

Anyone remember KU recruiting Shakur Juiston who ended up at UNLV? He might have fit in well with all the injuries KU. He averages a double-double for UNLV this year and last. He’s out know with a leg injury, maybe for the rest of the year.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but it looks like many KU players are passing up shots to feed Dedrick and LaGerald. It’s not showing up as an assist but the ball is consistently moved until those two get a touch...
@KirkIsMyHinrich - during the last “consultation” Villanova took during a KU free throw attempt, the look on the ref’s face was quite stern. He was almost angry but didn’t assess a technical against Villanova. Too bad.
@jayballer73 - you Know Mahomes will be in Lawrence for the TTU game. Any guesses on the colors he wears? Or will he go straight for Chiefs colors?
@BShark - was this section (from which the video was taken) full of player visitors on OV or Un-OV? The section seemed a bit disinterested, sitting when the rest of the fieldhouse was standing. It was a combination of parents and teens with official badges of some sort.

Twitter rumors about Jahvon Quinerly being unhappy at Villanova. Maybe transferring at semester. He’s only played 69 minutes so far this year, averaging 2.7 ppm and 1.1 assists. What happened here? I know KU was interested at one time...

@BeddieKU23 - I, too, hope KU is appealing any delay in Silvio’s case. We all want him to play! But what makes you think KU is appealing the issue, besides HCBS comments?

The $60,000, IIRC, was paid by a Maryland basketball supporter to a strength coach. Directly, probably. That supporter has ZERO incentive to admit to it as that would throw MD under the bus. SDS/guardian won’t admit to it because it verifies the action occurred. Ergo, no resolution. 🤬
I don’t believe $2,500 is that big an issue. It’s the $60K that’s stalling everything, I believe.
I have little faith SDS will see the court again. 😢
FWIW, Wofford scores 112 points tonight vs Kentucky Christian. It’s just two nights since scoring only 47 vs KU. Heck, they scored 59 in the first half alone!

@dylans - I use an iPad most of the time. If I clear all my cookies, it creates a few issues (I have to sign in again to certain sites, etc).
I downloaded the “KU Hoops” app (which belongs to the “paper not to be named”). Now I have access to all their KU sports stuff. Same for the KU Sports articles in the LJW app. Good enough.

Konate not playing for WVU tonight, but I can’t find out why. Their 247 board alludes to it, but nothing definitive.
Oregon and Bol Bol fall to Texas Southern, 89-85. Bol had 32 points, more than double anyone else on Oregon. TX Southern won it at the free throw line.

Looking at the box score, I was surprised to see:
- KU was +11 with KJ on the floor (best+/-)
- KU was +9 with Charlie on the floor (2nd best +/-)
- Charlie played 32 minutes (4th highest)
I’m gonna have to watch the game again.

Both KJ and Charlie played fairly well tonight. KJ was obviously frustrated and needs to stay under control but not sure KU wins without him....
Maybe Grimes hasn’t figured out the structure yet. Maybe he’s better with less structure where he can create?

It seems AZ has been under the radar since the payment thing last spring. The so-called recording never surfaced, nothing happened to Miller and that whole thing just died.
KU, on the other hand, is front and center. KU needs another trial and serious incriminating evidence against AZ, Duke, Oregon or someone in order to make this aura of “cheating” to settle down. Also, SDS becoming eligible would go a long way!
